Born and raised in the Seattle area, currently in the midst of my senior year here at the University of Washington, I am double majoring in Communications and Economics. Some might say I am a music and movie buff or that I just know too much useless pop culture information. I enjoy watching sports and am a huge Seattle sports fan. I love compelling television like Lost and 24. I’m a sucker for a good independent movie and am into all sorts of music though Weezer and Jimmy Eat World would have to be favorites.

I was born and raised on the US territory island of Guam and came to Seattle in Fall 2002 to attend UW. I am currently finishing up my senior year with a Comparative History of Ideas (CHID) major and Women Studies minor. I love going to live music shows and taking a ton of photos and/or videos as well, all of which end up on my own music based website theDivergency.com. For my thesis in CHID, I am doing a documentary on my all time favorite local Seattle band, These Arms Are Snakes, which I have been following for a little over 3 years (not just in Seattle, but also in Anaheim, CA; Portland, OR; Vancouver, BC; and Olympia, WA). Besides photographing, video recording, and reviewing music, I also happen to play the guitar, midi-keyboard, and a little bit of the drums.

This website was created as part of a Communications course at UW taught by the cool, caring, and fun Professor David Silver!
Here is the class Wiki site, which features some of the other class projects centering on the 1960's.
